I have been practicing dentistry in Sydney since 1983,
and I am just as enthusiastic about quality dental care today
as I was when I first graduated from the University of Sydney.
Having been 'born and bred' in Sydney, I graduated from the
Faculty of Dentistry (University of Sydney) in 1982, and commenced
work in full time private practice in the southern suburbs of
Sydney.
In 1990, I moved to my practice in the Sydney C.B.D. where I
have been working ever since. This city practice has a long
history of providing quality dental care. Dr. Ral Gabriel, Dr.
Tim Lloyd and Dr. John Kinross were my antecedents in this practice.
Indeed, from 1990 through to 1994, Dr. John Kinross and I worked
together in the practice, until ill health forced him to retire.
It has been a pleasure to have 'inherited' many of the patients
who had been previously cared for by these fine practitioners,
and the practice has continued to hold the underlying philosophy
of providing caring, quality dentistry. Read
our Practice Philosophy.
Do I have a 'life' outside of dentistry? - of course I do! My
wife and I have three lovely daughters (aged 15, 12 and 7),
and we are very involved in church and youth activities. I also
have an interest in aviation - I am a 'private' pilot, and together
with my father (who is retired and has put in the lion's share
of the work), have just completed building an 'Express' single
engine, 5-seat aircraft - a project that has taken approximately
5 years.
This little bit of information will help to explain why you
might see a few 'aviation' magazines interspersed amongst the
others in the waiting room . . .
