Laser Tooth Whitening

Tooth Whitening can quickly and safely brighten your smile; helping to take years off your age and remove staining and discolouration.

About Tooth Whitening

Teeth discolorations can be caused by smoking, dietary habits, the effects of childhood antibiotics or, most commonly, time… As we get older our teeth may begin to appear discoloured. Tooth Whitening can rejuvenate the effects of aging and help you recapture a beautiful, vibrant smile.

Now one of the most popular Cosmetic Dentistry procedures, Whitening has immediate benefits for creating an improved smile. It has been clinically proven to be safe and effective when applied by a Dental Professional. ‘Smartbleach’ laser whitening will produce a significantly improvement in tooth colour, without giving a ‘false’ or ‘artificial’ appearance to the teeth. For most people, the results will last from 3 to 5 years – far longer than other forms of tooth whitening treatments

Tooth Whitening with Laser

Our KTP ‘Smartbleach’laser is safe, comfortable and produces unrivalled results. We believe it to be far superior to other whitening methods available. In fact, we have many patients come to us who have tried (and been disappointed with) other whitening treatments. The ‘Smartbleach’ laser whitening gives these patients the results they have been seeking.

Laser Tooth Whitening steps to a beautiful, white smile:

  1. Your teeth are firstly cleaned by your dentist and a ‘before’ photograph is taken.
  2. A coating is applied to protect the gums.
  3. The unique ‘Smartbleach’ whitening gel is then carefully applied to each tooth individually.
  4. Each tooth is then individually exposed to the laser for thirty seconds at a time. It is the interaction of the laser with the gel on the teeth which produces the whitening effect.
  5. The gel is removed, then reapplied and the process repeated twice more.
  6. An ‘after treatment’ photograph is taken. You can see and enjoy your whiter, brighter smile immediately.

Please be aware that you will need to be a little careful about some of the things you eat and drink for the first two days after the treatment. Red wine, black tea and cigarette smoking are the main things to avoid / minimise during this period.
